Here are the specifications for the chrome coated bar:
Chrome Layer:
For diameter (Ø) ≤ 20 mm, the minimum chrome layer thickness is 20 μm.
For smaller sizes, the minimum thickness is 15 μm.
Surface Roughness:
Ra (average roughness) is always less than 0.2 μm.
Normally, the range is 0.05–0.10 μm.
Rt (ISO) is always less than 2.0 μm.
Normally, the range is 0.5–1.0 μm.
Surface Hardness:
The chrome layer hardness is a minimum of 850 HV0.1.
Straightness:
For Ø < 30 mm, the maximum deviation from straightness is 0.1 mm per 0.5 m.
For larger diameters, the maximum deviation is 0.1 mm per 1.0 m.
Roundness:
The out of roundness is maximized at 50% of the diameter tolerance interval.
Diameter Tolerance:
ISO f7 is the standard tolerance level for the diameter.
Other tolerances can be supplied upon request, with the narrowest range being ISO level 7.
